Yes, it's the children's favorite time of year...HALLOWEEN! Where children can let their creative mind run and be whoever they want that time of year. We absolutely love this season! I love baking all the pumpkin goods, and doing all the harvest festivities! It's gonna be a long post cause we do so much during this time of year!!
We decided to take him to the famous pumpkin patch! I guess this place has won some awards for their pumpkins throughout the years, and we thought that pumpkin patches and hay rides was the perfect recipe for a great fall afternoon!!

ISU BENGAL BOO-TACULAR
A few weeks before Halloween, we decided to go to ISU for their Halloween Boo-Tacular carnival, Jaxon was dressed as a home depot worker...I literally just picked up a random orange apron he had, tool glasses and a drill from his toy chest and let him wear it. And I went dressed as a kitty!
It was so much fun, there were different booths, games and little things for all the little kids to participate in, I took over 20+ photos on what he was doing, but here are a few...

After playing games, there was a costume contest for all the kids! Jaxon wanted to go up so much! So I let him, he looked so cute! 
Then they narrowed it down to 3 semifinalists! I thought, there are so many beautiful and creative costumes, 3rd place isn't so bad! But imagine our surprise when they announced "THE WINNER IS MR. HOME DEPOT!!!!
Jaxon getting his medals, and even got a Benny Bengal trophy!! 
Haha! We were so excited for him. He was getting sooo much attention from everyone there on his simple costume! This just shows you don't need anything spectacular to look fabulous! You just need an adorable kid!!! haha
He was so happy...he always says, "Dad and Mom..I'm NUMBER ONE!!!"

After weeks and weeks of waiting, Jaxon finally got to get into his Halloween costume! He was sooo excited. It's so hard for a 4 year old to see the costume everyday and be patient enough to not wear it yet!

We went and showed him off to a couple friends works that wanted to see him, and had a few people came over as well to take some pictures of him. We took him to the mall to get some treats, also a few neighbors around our neighborhood. It was so much fun....but mommys and daddys need fun on Halloween too!!I got ready at a friends house after trick or treating, and Tyler decided to go to Lava with his friends for a few hours, while me and a couple friends went out and met up with other people. It was such a fun time! Everyone told me and my friend Hanh we had the best costumes of anyone in town, we knew it and it was a hit!!! I dont know how we can top this next year!!!!!
